Out To Pick A Pumpkin

Our mops group loaded up the mini vans and headed out to the pumpkin patch last Tuesday. I wanted to be brave and take all three of the kids myself but at the last minuet I called reinforcements. (Best move I've made since braces) I called Grandpa Mike to come join the fun. I took Jabe, Mike took Phoebe and Tobin ...... well he had to fend for himself (don't judge me, he's four. He knows not to take candy from strangers and not to swim with sharks.)

Here's some of my faves from the day.

Love this cow in need of braces herself. Poor little thing.

I have to tell you I loved your father-in-law. He is the sweetest man. He said something wonderful about you.

We were talking and he mentioned you were his daughter. So I said, "Oh your Becca's dad." "No, I'm her father-in-law, but you know she my daugther, she's just the best."

How sweet is that? I have to agree with him.

Mike is the greatest grandpa evah. I came home and told Jason that Mike was on the trip, and Jason said the cutest thing.

"Yeah, Mike lives for those kids. They're everything to him."

It's so true.

And your kids are so cute. What's a better word than cute? Adorable? I don't know, but I just loved watching Jabe walking around the pumpkins.

Your kids would have some serious sore cheeks if they were here. They are so darn cute!!!

The dirt on the shoes and cheek shows just how much fun they had too! I really can't wait until next year to do stuff like this with Tristan (since he's only crawling I thought it best to hold off). Also wanted to let you know I'll miss the next MOPS meeting, but intend to come in December!

Your babies are SO cute! Mike is such a sweet guy, how sweet of him to go with you and help! I promise not to judge you for letting Tobin fend for himself...he probably enjoyed a bit of freedom. Thanks for the cow picture, too....too funny!

Mike is a great guy. He has always been so kind! He was one of the first people I met at CSCC. Him and Pam were working in the 2&3's where Aidan was at the time, Mike always made me feel better about leaving Aidan there (when we were new). Anyways he is so friendly-so awesome!

our kids are so cute. Seriously you and your hubby must have good genes! Your kids are fantastic. I loved seeing Jabe at the pumpkin patch he's got the sweetest little face. Tobin was fun to watch too. Him and Aidan had a lot of fun together I'm glad there pals. Tobin is totally old enough to fend for himself I let Aidan go his own way as well. And of course theres sweet Phoebe! She is just a cutie pie-Like her momma!

okay i was just re-reading my comment on this page and realized that the second paragrapgh was suppose to read YOUR kids instead of OUR kids. My lame shift key on my lame keyboard doesn't always work and I hardly ever have time to re-read my comments. anyhoo just thought i'd fix that little glitch!
