Out To Chop A Tree

After looking at our calender for this month, searching for a good time to get our Christmas tree, I realized that it either needed to happen today or January 3rd. Although I am sure we could get a smokin' deal on their "after Christmas - fire hazard guaranteed special," I decided on being a big spender and getting a tree today. Here's a few pictures of the mighty lumberjacks.

No pictures of the final product, because.......I am still decorating. I've set a firm bedtime for midnight. Wish me luck.

1:37. Sigh. Going to bed now. And just what are you doing up this late?

That is so cool. The first year we lived here, I thought it would be so awesome to get up and go chop a tree. Now that I know how cold it gets...lets just say the faux tree will be making an appearance again.

I love that top picture of you, at first I missed Phoebe. She's so bundled up I didn't see her.

These are super cute pictures. I finished decorating Christmas on Thanksgiving- tree and all. With Craig sick I had nothing better to do. I am finishing Christmas cards today.

Wow - those are the best pictures! Loved the one of Matt with the tree especially:) - so heroic and manly of him! I am here today to witness your hardwork last night and reaping the benefits of my girls' Christmas pictures being taken by the master in front of the beautifully decorated tree!

In watching your life from a close distance these last couple years - I think finally things are getting easier for you and Matt with the kids?!! You are conquering a lot lately - You are super mom! This is going to be a terrific year with your new house project! So excited to be able to watch it all come together.
