Things That Make My Heart Flutter

Phoebe's overbite

Playing in the snow

Matching sweaters on sale at Gymboree

Little boy's eating donuts with morning hair
AND........after much grief I went back to the mall to personally look for the lost boot. I went back to all stores in question and again had the pleasure of speaking to anyone wearing a name tag that I thought could help me. Rejected and discouraged one employee told me that they had been neglecting cleaning under the aisles. Sooo with my purse flung over one shoulder and balancing my coffee in my palm, I got on my knees and crawled on dirty carpet looking (like a fool) for the lost boot. I went down an aisle that I was drawn like the mother-ship calling me home. To a row of little boy suites. Parted them. Looked down. And call me a monkey's uncle..... there she was.......A little black boot, with a tiny little bow. I could have swore that I heard it cry out "Mommy, you found me!" I of course hugged her then scolded her for wondering off. I then paraded my boot like a trophy and told my Christmas Miracle to anyone who would listen. Thank you for your prayers. God really does care about the little things too.

Jeepers! I can't believe you found the boot - diligence really does pay off! So glad you didn't give up hope and give the lone boot to Goodwill or something! Now you've got to go buy some Superglue and glue them to her feet. I also think the snow photo of the twins back sides is so priceless, standing next to each other. It looks like it belongs on the front of a Christmas card.

Yeah! I am so glad you found Phoebe's long lost boot. I have been thinking about you and mourning the loss with you, I hate losing things, especially cute accessories like boots! I love the pics of the kids in the snow! Merry Christmas!

Woo Hoo! I'm so glad you found it!!

Anna once lost her prized doll (a little rag type doll someone had made her, it was sooo cute) at Waremart. I though it was a gonner but I went back about a week later and they had it in the lost and found. I was so happy! The little things that give us much joy!

Yes, the picture of the twins in the snow is SO SWEET!!

I already knew I really liked you, but after this post, I really like you. The sweaters on the twins, so what I would buy my kids. And the boot story. Oh my gosh I would of totally been there with an army load of people helping me find it. You can't lose a Janie and Jack item, come on. Enjoy those cute sweaters and boots.
Merry Christmas.

I'm amazed at your dedication. Way to go super mom! When I was a little girl my Blueberry Muffin doll's hat flew off her head on the Ross Island Bridge. I was in tears and Dad was nice enough to pull the car over (past the bridge, of course!) and walk back in search of the hat. He was victorious!
