Pushing Dirt

It has begun. Our property is being groomed for our home. Even though right now it just looks like piles of dirt that disturbed this virgin ground, this process of building our foundation of our home is the most important step. Everything and everybody needs a firm foundation to be solid.
Here is a look at our pond. (I even saw some ducks last month!)

And a creek.

How exciting - question, where is this place?

Do you just want to park yourself on a blanket, near the creek and watch (and direct) the progress? I totally would!

O.k., so I had to look up this Jonathan guy, because why did he want to know where your new house was? He's one of your clan! O.k. you can tell him where your house will be.

I like his blog:)

This is exciting! A friend of mine is having a house built in California. She kept us updated on with pictures of the process of building her mini-mansion (3,600 for her, her husband, and their two pets!)

I think it's fun to watch a house being built quite literally from the ground up!! :) Do keep us posted!

Alida, Jonathan is one of my many fantastic cousins. So he is allowed to know where we live.... but I have worked hard to not be specific about where I live. So Jonathan, we are building on the south side of town. Can't wait to see you in July and take you there.

Guess I could have rephrased it, I was wondering if you guys were taking your opportunity to jet town while I'm away, but now that is answered.
I'm very excited to visit when I get home. I'm also excited to see you, Matty and the kiddos! Should be great.
