Serendipity

I have the fire on with my lap top on my ....... lap, and I am literately melting into the couch unable to move because of the coziness. Checked my email to see an old college friend Jenny left a sweet comment on my last post. She inquired about the "Twins Napping" sign and asked me to check if it said, "The Painted Word" on the back, because if it did then she may have painted it. Curiosity is the only thing that could have lifted my rear off this couch. So look what I found.

Can you believe it? Jenny! So cool.

Your nursery is so blessed with touches from friends - some you didn't even know about!!! I'd love to hear the story behind the sign - was it a gift or a treasure you found in a store? Does your friend Jenny sell these neat things?

My mother-in-law found that at Meringue. It was before we knew the sexes. Thus the pink. Jenny lives in Seattle.

Yay!!! that makes me so happy! I'm tearing up a little....(partly because I'm retarded that way..and partly because the world is so amazingly small). The painted word is owned by a Christian couple here in Bothell/Seattle. They started it so she could be a stay at home mom..and now they employ several stay at home moms to paint for them. I am one of four painters in our area ;) Horray!! They also sell some really great signs on Costco.com you should check it out :) Thanks for blessing my heart with this post! And here I am in Seattle wishing I could make it to your fun things and there has been a little tiny piece of me there all along :)

Jenny, here I am in Bothell, maybe we should meet this Thursday? And, guess what? I went out with my 7year old last night and we drove by country village. What did I see? On the reader board there was an advertisement for a place that will put your name on oranments and stockings. I wonder is that the place you are talking about? I could see them in Country village. How cool if so!

Becca, being curious...it does motivate us, doesn't it?

So fun to know that whenever I talk to Jenny about the painting she is doing, I can now picture on of the room decorations... in your children's nursery. The world certainly is a small place. Even from way over here, Micah and I find coincidences that can only be expained as a God-thing. Too cool. I look forward to hearing about the memories you make in your NEW home!

That's really cool that your friend probably painted that sign. But I've gotta say the best thing about it is...it's made in the good ol' USA which means...NO LEAD PAINT! So, bite away, twins, bite away! ;)

ok, it's 11:15 pm, Tuesday night. I have to get up at 5:30 am, and I am NOT going to bed until I see today's post. You have 45 minutes, and I know you won't miss a day, you've made it this far...so hurry up darn it!
